Women Wearing Sarees To be Old Fashion

Indian ethnic attire like Sarees and Salwar Suits have always been viewed as something that turns young girls and women into ‘Behen Jis’ (plane janes)

who aren’t modern in their thought process and are instantly branded as regressive beings.

These days, such ethnic attire is preferred only for special official or personal occasions so many people find the dresses to be old-fashioned.

Personally, I don’t find women wearing sarees to be old-fashioned. A woman has the right to wear sarees just like a man has the right of avoiding dhoti-kurta (a matter of personal choice)!

Really sorry to disappoint you I am a silk saree lover. I have always worn silks..not even once I have worn a handloom saree. If you wish I can share a silk saree pic
Is that's how your family women wear saree????

I am an Indiana, and I haven’t yet seen anybody wearing a saree like that either in our family or in our surroundings.

And I m sure that there is no need to wear a saree like that unless you are a glamour actress or an escorts women. Because usually the women of the red light area only do that flaunting saree stuff to get men.

And yes, it is hot on them.

yes, this is the world of fashion and we have lots of options of wearing a dress or Saree in different ways. Nowadays it's not compulsory that blouse should be worn with Saree there are many other options we can pair the Saree with crop top and shirts and long top and Kurtis also. I love to do experiments with Saree so I tried other options with Saree.

Firstly in winter, I pair the black Saree with a base color sweater
